NORTH LAKE MEN'S BASKETBALL SCHEDULE
IRVING, Texas – Dallas College North Lake men's basketball team will open the season Friday on Community Day.
The Blazers will host Texas Wesleyan University Junior Varsity at noon. A pre-game ring ceremony to honor last year's Blazers team for winning the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III National Championship is scheduled for 11:45 a.m.
Roughly 600 area elementary school students will be in attendance for the game, and will also tour the North Lake campus. Players will sign autographs for the elementary students after the game.
This marks the third year for the Community Day game under North Lake Head Coach Josh Mills.
The Blazers went 29-4 overall, 10-0 in the Dallas Athletic Conference last season, capturing the program's fifth national title – the most in NJCAA men's basketball history.
