Handful of Blazers Headed to Four-Year Schools

IRVING -- Dallas College North Lake men's basketball team is sending five players on to four-year schools.
Guard Darion Jones is headed to NCAA Division II Texas A&M International. Forward DeKyre Fuller signed with Mississippi College, an NCAA Division II program. Forward Da'Ryan Williams will play at NAIA University of North Texas at Dallas. Forwards Ryan Pondant is headed to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, an NCAA Division III school. Guard Coby Farley is off to the University of Pittsburgh-Bradford.
"When guys come to North Lake to play basketball, they want to accomplish three things: earn an associate's degree, win championships and earn scholarships to four-year schools," Blazers head coach Josh Mills said. "That is exactly what these young men have accomplished. They were able to secure scholarships because of their play on the basketball court and their hard work academically. They have a bright future in basketball and beyond."
