Dallas College North Lake men's basketball team will learn its seeding for the 12-team national tournament when the National Junior College Athletic Association airs the Division III Championship Selection Show 1 p.m. CT Wednesday on the NJCAA Network.

The NJCAA Division III Championship will be held March 15-18 in Herkimer, New York.

Ranked No. 2 in NJCAA Division III, the Blazers (25-6) will return to the national tournament in an attempt to defend their 2022 title. North Lake won the NJCAA Division III South Central District and Region V title, beating 11th-ranked Dallas College Richland, 90-63, in the championship game Saturday.

North Lake is expected to receive a first round bye at the national tournament, and would then play in the quarterfinals on Thursday, March 16.

First-year head coach Josh Mills, who was a part of last year's national championship team as an assistant under erstwhile NJCAA Men's Basketball Hall of Fame head coach Tim McGraw, guided the Blazers to a 16-0 record at home this season. North Lake is on a 21-game winning streak, dating back to Dec. 1. The Blazers were 10-0 in Dallas Athletic Conference play to capture the league regular season title.

North Lake has won four NJCAA Division III championships, which is tied for the most in men's basketball junior college history.
