Wendorf Earns DAC Pitcher of Week Honor

IRVING, Texas – Dallas College North Lake's Matthew Wendorf was chosen as the Dallas Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week.

A freshman left-hander from Bedford, Texas, Wendorf went 1-0, allowing no runs, two hits and a walk in three innings of a win over Trinidad State College.

Wendorf is 3-1 with a 3.38 ERA and 17 strikeouts in 21.1 innings this season.

North Lake (12-16, 4-2 DAC) hosts Dallas College Eastfield noon Wednesday to begin a three-game series.
