Angus Selected for Texas-New Mexico Juco All-Star Weekend
Dallas College North Lake catcher Noah Angus was selected to play in the Texas-New Mexico Junior College Baseball Coaches Association All-Star Weekend Sept. 22-23 at Dallas Baptist University.
Sophomore players from all National Junior College Athletic Association divisions were selected for the Southwest states All-Star weekend.
A 6-foot-1, 200-pound sophomore catcher from Haslet, Texas, Angus batted .297 with two home runs, 16 doubles, a triple and 31 runs batted in, a .484 slugging percentage and .352 on-base percentage in 40 games last season. He had a season-long 11-game hitting streak, during which span he collected a season-high four hits in five plate appearances, homered and drove a season-best six runs in a 10-6 win over Dallas College Brookhaven on March 1.
Angus was one of three catchers selected to represent the Texas All-Stars.
