Phillips Named Third Team All-American

NJCAA DIII VOLLEYBALL ALL-AMERICANS

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Dallas College North Lake volleyball's Shi'Miria Phillips was named a Third Team National Junior College Athletic Association Division III All-American.

A sophomore outside hitter from Dallas, Phillips was a First Team All-Dallas Athletic Conference recipient. She led the Blazers with 319 kills, and had 52 blocks and 107 digs. She had a career-high 17 kills in her final match as a Blazer – a 3-2 win over Sandhills Community College in the NJCAA Division III Tournament fifth place match. She had a career-high five blocks in two matches, and had 10 digs against Dallas College Richland.

Phillips recorded double-digit kills in 13 matches, including five in a row near the end of the season.
