Riley, Hall Headline Blazers' All-DAC Selections

IRVING, Texas – Dallas College North Lake volleyball's Love Riley was named co-Most Valuable Player of the Dallas Athletic Conference, while Kinleigh Hall was selected as the league's Blocker of the Year.

A sophomore outside hitter from Irving, Riley finished the season with 392 kills, a .183 attack percentage, 449 digs and 81 blocks. Hall, a freshman middle blocker from Hallettsville, Texas, had 267 kills and 101 blocks, while hitting .216.

Riley, Hall and sophomore libero Skyler Brooks, earned First Team All-DAC honors. Riley and Brooks were National Junior College Athletic Association All-Region V selections. Brooks had 682 digs and 13 aces. She finished her two-year career at North Lake with 1,128 digs.

Ayanna Manikham, a sophomore outside hitter from Rockford, Illinois, joined freshman setter Hadley Klock and sophomore right side/middle hitter Hope Miller on the DAC Second Team. Manikham had 222 kills, 358 digs and 31 aces. Klock, who hails from Centerville, Texas, had 883 assists, 401 digs, 26 blocks and 25 aces. A native of Evadale, Texas, Miller had 176 kills, 123 digs, 73 blocks and 41 aces.

Jocelyn Blassingame and Carly Korrodi each were Honorable Mention All-DAC selections. A freshman outside hitter/opposite side hitter from Lake Dallas, Texas, Blassingame finished the season with 134 kills, 91 digs and 34 blocks. Korrodi, a freshman setter from San Antonio, had 209 assists, 317 digs and 19 aces.

North Lake won a program-record 17 matches in 2023, advancing to the NJCAA Division III South District championship before falling to No. 1 nationally-ranked and unbeaten Dallas College Eastfield.
