Hall Repeats as DAC Defensive Player of Week

IRVING, Texas – Dallas College North Lake's Kinleigh Hall was named the Dallas Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the second straight week.

It is the final weekly award of the season.

Hall, a freshman middle blocker from Halletsville, Texas, finished with 10 blocks and five digs, while hitting .297 in a pair of wins last week. She had 19 kills in 37 swings in the Blazers' two wins. In a four-set win over Dallas College Mountain View, Hall had eight blocks, four digs and 13 kills to end the regular season. She had two blocks and six kills, while hitting .455 in a sweep of Dallas College Richland in the penultimate match of the regular season.

Hall finished the regular season with 89 blocks, second in the DAC.

North Lake (16-17) will earn a bye in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III South District Tournament quarterfinals, and will play the highest remaining seed in Thursday's 7 p.m. semifinals.
