North Lake Sweeps Seminole State on Road

SEMINOLE, Okla. – Dallas College North Lake's volleyball team swept Seminole State College, 25-19, 27-25, 25-23, Monday.

The win bumped the Blazers' record to 2-3 this season entering Thursday's 5 p.m. match at Arlington Baptist University. The same two teams will play in Irving 5 p.m. Monday in North Lake's home opener. Seminole State, a National Junior College Athletic Association Division II institution, fell to 2-2.

Kinleigh Hall had 12 kills and four blocks, while hitting .237. Love Riley had 11 kills, 18 digs and two blocks. She was set 51 times. Jocelyn Blassingame had seven kills, and hit .222 in 27 attempts. Hope Miller hit .250, putting down six kills.

Hadley Klock had 22 assists and two blocks, and Carly Korrodi had 18 assists, 10 digs and four aces. Skyler Brooks had 26 digs, Jennica Leal 10 and Isabelle Salas nine.

The Blazers hit .264 in the third set, putting down 16 balls in 53 swings. North Lake hit .191 as a team, and had 77 digs.

North Lake improved to 1-1 on the road this season.
