Volleyball Opens Season Aug. 18
IRVING, Texas – Dallas College North Lake volleyball will open the season Aug. 18 at the Weatherford College Invitational.
The Blazers will play four matches in the opening weekend in Weatherford, seeing the likes of Panola College, Amarillo College, Independence Community College and Blinn College. After road contests at Seminole State College and Arlington Baptist University, the Blazers will host Arlington Baptist in the home opener Aug. 28.
North Lake will host Ranger College and Panola College Sept. 2 and Henderson University's Junior Varsity and Hill College Sept. 5 in a tri-match. The Blazers will then have a home-and-home series with Temple College Sept. 9 and 11 with the first match on the road before the Leopards visit Irving.
The Blazers will see the likes of College of DuPage, John Melvin University, Blinn, Northwest Mississippi Community College and Coastal Bend College at the Blinn Invitational Sept. 14-16.
North Lake begins Dallas Athletic Conference action Sept. 18 at Dallas College Eastfield. The Blazers host Dallas College Cedar Valley Sept. 25 in the first conference home match.
Following a trip to Henderson State Sept. 30 for a pair of matches against Henderson State JV and Labette Community College, the Blazers return to DAC action Oct. 2 at Dallas College Mountain View. They begin the second half of league play Oct. 5 at home against Eastfield.
North Lake will host Coffeyville Community College and Seminole State Oct. 14 in another tri-match. The Blazers close the regular season at home against Mountain View Oct. 19.
