Blazers Quartet Earn All-DAC Honors

Dallas College North Lake sophomore middle hitter Megan O'Neal earned First Team All-Dallas Athletic Conference honors.

Freshman setter Brianna McClure received second team honors, while freshman middle hitter Love Riley and freshman right side hitter Hope Miller were honorable mention selections.

A native of Red Oak, Texas, O'Neal led the Blazers with 233 kills, and had 91 blocks and 25 aces. She was named the DAC Defensive Player of the Week in early September. She committed to Howard Payne University.

McClure, a product of Odessa, Texas, led North Lake with 547 assists and 474 digs, while serving 25 aces, putting down 133 kills and registering 36 blocks. She collected two league player of the week honors.

Riley, who hails from Irving, had 167 kills, and led the team with 98 blocks, including a team-best 27 solos. She was named DAC Defensive Player of the Week Sept. 17.

Miller, an Evadale, Texas product, had 303 digs, 153 kills, 54 blocks and a team-high 45 aces.
