Blazers Begin Fall Sports Aug. 20
Dallas College North Lake opens the fall athletics seasons Saturday, Aug. 20.
North Lake's volleyball team will open the season Aug. 20 versus Victoria College at Dallas College Richland. Following a road match at Seminole State College Aug. 22, North Lake will host the ThunderBlaze Classic Aug. 26-27. The Blazers will see the likes of Coastal Bend College, Southwest Assemblies of God University JV, Amarillo College and McCook Community College in the home tournament.
The Blazers will meet Dallas Christian College in a pair of matches Aug. 29 at home and Sept. 1 on the road. North Lake opens Dallas Athletic Conference play at home against Dallas College Brookhaven Sept. 19. The Blazers will conclude DAC play at Dallas College Eastfield Oct. 20.
North Lake's women's soccer team will open the regular season Aug. 23 at home against Dallas College Eastfield in a non-conference game. The Blazers hit the road Aug. 26 and Aug. 30 for games at the University of Houston-Victoria and Southwestern Adventist University, respectively. They return home to host Cisco College Sept. 6 and Southwestern Adventist Sept. 9.
The Blazers kick off DAC play Sept. 16 at Eastfield. The first home conference game is Sept. 20 versus Brookhaven. North Lake will wrap up the regular season Oct. 18 at home against Dallas College Mountain View.
