MESQUITE, Texas – Dallas College North Lake women's soccer team tied Dallas College Eastfield to finish the first half of Dallas Athletic Conference play Friday.
North Lake defender Regan Hair scored in the 50th minute to tie the game. Natalie Gaytan had an assist on the goal. It was Hair's first goal of the season.
Eastfield (3-7-1, 1-3-1 DAC) took the lead in the last minute of the first half on a goal from Mackensie Davis.
North Lake (3-4-3, 1-2-2) attempted 11 shots, including seven in the second half. The Blazers had nine shots on goal.
Blazers goalkeeper Emely Vargas (3-3-3) made three saves.
North Lake plays at No. 2 Dallas College Brookhaven (4-2-3, 2-0-3 DAC) to begin the second round of conference 7 p.m. Tuesday. The two teams tied, 1-1, in the first meeting this season.
