Santiago Named DAC Offensive Player of Week

IRVING, Texas – Dallas College North Lake's Lia Santiago was named the Dallas Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

A freshman from Hurst, Texas, Santiago recorded a hat trick in a 3-1 win over Dallas College Mountain View. It was her second hat trick of the season. It was also her third gamewinning goal of the year.

Santiago led the DAC in goals (18) and points (38) this season. She is tied for fourth in goals and tied for sixth in points in the National Junior College Athletic Association Division III.

North Lake (3-8-5) will play Dallas College Eastfield (3-12-2) in the NJCAA Division III South District quarterfinals 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Dallas College Brookhaven.
