Blazers-Cardinals eSports Collaborate, Compete at Trinity Valley

ATHENS, Texas – Dallas College North Lake eSports' Call oif Duty 4v4 B team beat Trinity Valley Community College in sudden death Tuesday in front of roughly 120 spectators and some 250 more watching on streams.

The Blazers and Cardinals competed against each other in person at Trinity Valley.

North Lake's COD B team won its series in reverse sweep fashion. The Blazers' COD A team lost its series, ending its season.

Meanwhile, North Lake's Zaid Gutierrez lost to Dallas College Cedar Valley's Khoi Nguyen, 3-2, in the opening round of the FC 24 playoffs. Gutierrez won the past two Tier I FIFA championships. EA Sports' FC series succeeded FIFA.

North Lake's first-person shooter gamers are preparing for next week's playoffs.
