McCort Recognized by NJCAAe

Dallas College esports coach Sky McCort was awarded a certificate of recognition for her involvement in National Junior College Athletic Association esports.

The award was given to individuals who have gone above and beyond in their efforts to improve the NJCAAe Association.

McCort served as esports coach at three Dallas College campuses this school year. She primarily serves as the first person shooter coach at Dallas College Richland, Dallas College North Lake and Dallas College Brookhaven. She oversaw the Valorant, Smash Brothers, Overwatch and Rainbow 6 Siege gamers this year.

Richland's esports teams went 26-7-8 this academic year. North Lake's teams went 32-10-1.

McCort helped launch esports at Dallas College in the spring of 2022.
