Askew Chosen as DAC Pitcher of Week

IRVING, Texas – Dallas College North Lake's Davin Askew was selected as the Dallas Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week.

A freshman right hander from Houston, Askew went 1-0 last week, tossing three shutout innings, allowing two hits and two walks, and struck out four. The Blazers went 2-1 last week.

Askew improved to 1-1 this season.

North Lake will open Dallas Athletic Conference play at Dallas College Cedar Valley Wednesday. The Blazers host the Suns Friday and Saturday. All games begin at noon.
