Mendez Named Second Team All-American

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Dallas College North Lake's Ava Mendez was named a National Junior College Athletic Association Division III Volleyball Second Team All-American.

A freshman libero, Mendez had 623 digs and 37 aces. She averaged 5.99 digs per set. She ranked fourth in the country in digs and 10^th in digs per set.

Mendez ranked fifth all time in North Lake history in season digs.
