Blanca's Battle Benefit Game

Oct 22^nd is Sophomore Night for the North Lake College Blazers, and it's also the Blanca's Battle Benefit Game against Eastfield College. NLC Coach Cathy Carter raises money for a former teammate and Eastfield player Blanca Saavedra, who was diagnosed with head and neck cancer. Blanca was pronounced cancer-free in 2016 and is now a coach at Braswell High School with a baby boy. 

The benefit game and Blanca's Battle GoFundMe page generate donations for Dan's House of Hope, a shelter which made Blanca's own battle with cancer more comfortable. Consider donating today.
